The division of state mental health funding between counties is the subject of a meeting Monday in Irvine, sponsored by state Sen. Marian Bergeson (R-Newport Beach). County supervisors and staff from five counties are scheduled to meet and discuss reforms of the funding formula for mental health. According to Bergeson’s office, there are significant discrepancies in the level of funding among counties.
