Another Orange County builder is also doing a snazzy project outside the county. That’s J. Ray Construction in Irvine, which is building the $10-million Malibu Colony Plaza for Reco Land Corp. of Los Angeles.
The 80,000-square-foot shopping plaza, near Malibu Colony and Pepperdine University, includes a Hughes Market and three other buildings containing shops.
Also set for the plaza is a restaurant owned by L.A. restaurant whiz Wolfgang Puck.
