THE OUTDOORS : Pyramid, Silverwood Good for Big Stripers

Pyramid Lake in Los Angeles County and Lake Silverwood in San Bernardino County, Southern California’s two primary striped bass fisheries, have provided anglers their best chances at catching big fish recently.
At Pyramid, Karen Laumbach of Pinon Pines caught a 25-pound striper. Randy Muerhead of San Bernardino, fishing at Lake Silverwood, topped that with a 30-pounder.
