Loyola 27, St. Francis 0--Loyola running back Johann Fuller rushed for 165 yards in 15 carries and scored 4 touchdowns in a league opener at St. Francis. Loyola, ranked No. 2 in the nation by USA Today, gained 384 yards in total offense while allowing just 98.
St. Francis tailback Ed Diaz had 34 yards in 11 carries. Erik Hagge completed 5 of 11 for 51 yards and threw 2 interceptions.
