Pentagon OKs Arms Sale

WASHINGTON — The Pentagon notified Congress on Friday it had approved a sale of self-propelled howitzers and various other armored vehicles to Thailand. The package would be worth an estimated $63 million. Congress has 30 days to veto the sale.
