The wife of Atlanta Falcons defensive back David Croudip, whose death Monday has been attributed to apparent cocaine intoxication, told police that her husband used cocaine in 1982 while he was at San Diego State and sought treatment, according to a report in the Atlanta Constitution.
However, Holly Croudip said during a television interview that her husband did not use drugs, and Falcon officials said they were not aware of any drug use by Croudip.
