Westward Communications, the English parent of Tarzana-based Panavision, announced that it is negotiating a deal with its lenders and New York-investment banker E. M. Warburg, Pincus & Co. that would restructure its debt in exchange for an undisclosed but “substantial” equity interest. Panavision is the largest supplier of 35-millimeter cameras and accessories to the American movie and TV industry. Spokesman Joan Urbaniak said the deal is expected to be completed later this month.
