Loyola Women Fall to Fresno State

The Loyola Marymount women’s volleyball team fell 15-3, 15-5, 16-4 to Fresno State University in Saturday’s non-conference game at Fresno. The Lions led 14-11 in the last game and had nine game points but couldn’t pull out a victory.
Loyola (6-8) was led by senior outside hitter Leslie Wohlford, who had 12 kills, 9 digs and 2 blocks. Freshman outside hitter Dawn Moon had four blocks and senior setter Seham Khalaf, who led Loyola with 11 assists, had seven kills.
Loyola will host San Diego State University in a non-conference game on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. and return to West Coast Athletic Conference action on Saturday at the University of San Diego. -30
