The Colleges : Richard Morton Signs Contract With Pacers

Former Cal State Fullerton basketball player Richard Morton signed a 1-year nonguaranteed contract with the Indiana Pacers Wednesday, Morton’s agent Jim Spellman said.
Morton, a guard, averaged 22 points a game last season for the Titans, who finished 12-17.
Morton will report today to the Pacers’ veterans camp at Lafayette, La., Spellman said.
Another former Fullerton player, forward Henry Turner, signed a 1-year contract with the Rochester Flyers of the Continental Basketball Assn. and will report to the team’s camp Nov. 2, said Spellman, who is also Turner’s agent.
Turner averaged 17.3 points and 7.3 rebounds a game for the Titans last season.
