Bush Declines 3rd Debate

WASHINGTON — Republican George Bush today declined an invitation to appear with Democrat Michael S. Dukakis on the ABC-TV program “Nightline”--outside the tight restrictions of their other two debates--after Dukakis had accepted the offer, said Roone Arledge, ABC News president.
