Moscow Ballet Changes Programs

The Orange County Performing Arts Center has announced new changes in the Moscow Classical Ballet programs for next week, presumably due to the recent cancellations by three guest dancers from the Bolshoi Ballet.
A revised program of divertissements will be performed Tuesday through Thursday, replacing the mixed bill previously announced for Tuesday and the evening-long “Creation of the World” on Wednesday and Thursday.
The mixed bill includes Act II of “Swan Lake,” an excerpt (“Adam and Eve”) from “Creation of the World,” a suite of Russian dances and, with newly announced Kirov Ballet guest artist Tatiana Terekhova, the last-act pas de deux from “Don Quixote.” All performances are at 8 p.m.
“Romeo and Juliet” will be performed as originally scheduled, on Friday at 8 p.m., Saturday at 2 and 8 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m.
