23 More Missionaries to Leave Indonesia
Associated Press
RICHMOND, Va. — The Southern Baptist Foreign Mission Board says 23 more missionaries in Indonesia have been notified that their resident visas won’t be renewed, bringing to 32 the number forced to leave this year because of visa rejections.
Those forced out are veteran missionaries, all of them serving there more than 14 years, and most more than 20. The board says the remaining 45 missionaries who have been there less than 10 years presently see no visa problems.
