Arroyo Grande 35, Royal 6--Arroyo Grande quarterback Chris Solomon tossed touchdown passes of 22 and 39 yards to wide receiver William Henry in the first half at Simi Valley High.

Solomon completed 14 of 17 passes for 222 yards and 2 touchdowns. He also scored on a 10-yard run just before the half to give Arroyo Grande a 28-6 lead.

Royal scored its only touchdown early in the second quarter on a fake field-goal attempt as quarterback and holder Pat Ledesma rolled out and threw a 22-yard touchdown pass to wide receiver James Jones. Arroyo Grande rolled up 370 yards total offense, while limited Royal to 140.
