The World : Oil Fire Out; Body Found
Firefighters quelled a blaze on a stricken North Sea oil rig and found a body believed to be that of a missing crewman. In Aberdeen, Scotland, a spokeswoman for Arco, which operates the Ocean Odyssey platform, said that a body had been found on the damaged rig but that the name of the worker was being withheld until the family could be notified. Radio operator Timothy Williams, 25, who kept sending distress calls as his fellow crew members fled in lifeboats after an explosion and fire on the platform last Thursday, was the only one of the 67 workers aboard who was missing.
