Sun Valley’s Flamemaster Talking With 5 Suitors
- Share via
Flamemaster Corp., a Sun Valley maker of flame-retardant coatings and storage cabinets, said Monday that it is talking to five suitors--including some from Europe--interested in acquiring the company or buying a large stake in it.
The company made the disclosure in the wake of unusually heavy activity recently in its stock, which closed at $6.50 a share in over-the-counter trading Monday, up 50 cents. In January, Flamemaster’s stock was selling at less than $3 a share.
Flamemaster officials said no agreements have been reached with potential suitors.
