Yellowstone Park Fires
After watching Yellowstone Park burn week after week on the nightly news, one soon realizes what a terrible national tragedy we are witnessing. The fires will eventually be stopped by snow and then another tragedy will start--the starvation of the wildlife that escaped the flames. When they dig through the snow searching for food they will find ash.
It has not been the policy of the National Park Service to feed wildlife, but this has to be an exception to that policy or there will be mass starvation this winter in Yellowstone.
Feed must be provided soon. We can send aid all over the world; now it is time we help the unfortunate wildlife in Yellowstone. They are a national treasure and a valuable part of our natural heritage.
