American Medical International, Beverly Hills, has elected Kirk E. Miller to the positions of corporate vice president and general counsel and Leslie Kalin, a vice president and senior counsel, to the additional post of corporate secretary. Miller previously was vice president and associate general counsel. He succeeds R. Jeffrey Taylor, who was appointed senior vice president-operations support. Kalin succeeds Thomas E. Donahue Jr. as corporate secretary. Donahue retired as executive vice president-administration and corporate secretary.
The company also appointed L. Stanton Tuttle to the new position of president and chief executive of AMI Psychiatric, which includes six free-standing psychiatric hospitals. Tuttle, who is based in Houston, most recently was president and chief operating officer of National Healthcare Inc. of Dothan, Ala.
