Tai Babilonia Hospitalized

Championship ice skater Tai Babilonia, unhappy over recent performances, was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center today for treatment of what the police called an accidental overdose of pills. She was released this afternoon and reported in good condition.
Los Angeles Police Department spokesman Bill Frio said the 28-year-old skating star called her manager saying she was unhappy about her recent skating performances and that she had taken some pills. Frito added: “I guess the manager assumed it was a large amount. We aren’t calling it an attempted suicide.â€
