Gerry A. Thomas has been appointed to the newly created position of president of Centennial Beneficial Mortgage Co. Thomas, who joined Centennial in August, will be responsible for the company’s day-to-day operations. Thomas was previously division president of BA Mortgage Co., a subsidiary of Bank of America. In that position, he managed two regional offices and was responsible for a $250 million construction loan portfolio. Centennial Beneficial Mortgage provides construction, equity, loan brokerage and permanent financing for commercial, office, industrial and apartment income properties. It is a subsidiary of Centennial Beneficial Corp., a multibank holding company based in Orange.
