The Real Reasons UCLA Plays Those Two

I am getting sick of listening to Terry Donahue try to make UCLA’s obviously lesser opponents sound like national championship caliber teams (Sept. 3). Every year, we have to listen to him justify playing schools such as San Diego State and Cal State Long Beach.
The simple fact is that playing these schools will do nothing more than give the Bruins two extra wins and help to inflate Troy Aikman’s statistics, boosting his chances at the Heisman.
