A 41-year-old Canoga Park man was found beaten and shot to death early Wednesday in the parking lot of the business where he worked, Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies said.
The body of Daniel Andrade was discovered about 5:30 a.m. by a fellow employee in the parking lot behind Raypak Inc. in the 31000 block of Agoura Road in Westlake Village, said Sheriff’s Deputy Eric Smith.
Andrade, who completed a 10-hour shift at 4 a.m., had been struck on the head with a blunt instrument and shot several times, Smith said.
No arrests have been made in connection with the murder, he said.
