Toros Defeat Masters College in Soccer, 2-1

Willie Ayala broke a 1-1 tie by converting a 15-foot chip shot 12 minutes into the second half to give Cal State Dominguez Hills a 2-1 soccer victory over Masters College.
Ayala’s tally came off Matt Swindle’s second assist of the game. Swindle earlier set up a goal by Robert Enriquez that gave CSUDH a 1-0 lead.
Goalie Chris Wilson made four saves for the Toros, now 1-0 for the season. Chris Bingham, Masters College netminder, had six saves, and Chris Palm had Masters’ lone goal 24 minutes into the first half.
