Ferryboat Capsizes in Pakistan, Killing 14

KARACHI, Pakistan — A small ferryboat capsized in a river in southern Pakistan, and at least 14 people drowned, a rescue official said.
Sattar Edhi, who operates nationwide ambulance and social services, said the accident occurred Wednesday night near Hyderabad, 107 miles northeast of Karachi.
Most of the victims were teen-age boys returning home from a holiday procession in Hyderabad, Edhi said.
