A third official of the University of Illinois Athletic Assn. has resigned after an investigation of improprieties within the group.
Robert Wright, manager of stadium maintenance, submitted his resignation after being told that he would be penalized as a result of the probe.
A probe of allegations of misconduct by top university athletic officials led to the resignations in July of Athletic Director Neale Stoner and Associate Director Vance Redfern.
