Local News in Brief : San Juan Capistrano : El Cajon Woman Dies in Freeway Accident
A 27-year-old El Cajon woman was killed Tuesday when her speeding car left the road and overturned on Interstate 5 in San Juan Capistrano, authorities said.
The Orange County coroner’s office said the woman, identified as Heesa Matsumura, was ejected from her car and suffered severe chest and abdomen injuries.
Matsumura, who was not wearing a safety belt at the time of the crash, was pronounced dead at San Clemente General Hospital, authorities said.
