Manufacturing & Consulting Services, an Irvine developer of computer software used by engineers, has signed a marketing and development pact with Silicon Graphics Computer Systems, a Silicon Valley manufacturer of high-powered computer work stations.
The value of the agreement was not disclosed by the two companies.
Under the agreement, MCS will sell Silicon Graphics computers as part of its Anvil 5000 product, a computer hardware and software system for design, drafting and manufacturing applications. MCS and Silicon Graphics also will work together on development of new products.
