Libya Backs Gulf Truce

ROME — Libyan leader Moammar Kadafi met with Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Velayati and praised Iran and Iraq for agreeing to end their gulf war, Libya’s official Jana news agency reported Monday. Velayati left Libya on Monday after the talks.
