Sara Lee Corp. posted record income of $87.1 million for the fourth quarter, a gain of 21.6% from the year-ago period. The Chicago-based packaged foods company also reported record earnings for the year: $325.1 million, a 21.7% increase. “All our businesses performed well as solid gains in unit volumes continued to drive our growth,” said John H. Bryan Jr., company chairman.
