Kraft’s Complaints

I couldn’t believe my eyes. . . . What in the world makes anyone think I would be overly concerned with the seemingly fragile psyche of alleged murderer Randy Steven Kraft (July 15). I am sorry, but I am saving all of my sympathy for the victims whose lives were cruelly cut short and their families who must endure the aftermath of humanity gone awry. If Kraft is worried that the length of his internment is affecting his delicate sang-froid, why has he continually requested extensions to prolong the setting of his trial date?

Our Orange County Jail is not a resort. As long as conditions there are safe, sanitary and humane, Kraft deserves no more than any other alleged felon awaiting trial.
