On the Campaign Trail With Republican George Bush

At a recent press conference Bush quipped, “I can’t wait for the debate--Dukakis and Bentsen. I think it’s going to be wonderful.” I agree completely. It would be wonderful to hear a vice president who speaks his own mind and a President who does not own his vice president.
