4 Die When Private Plane Hits Building, Explodes

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — A small private airplane crashed into a building near Smith-Reynolds Airport and exploded, killing the four passengers aboard the aircraft, authorities said. A Jepson Burns Corp. building caught fire after the Friday night accident, officials said, but workers escaped safely and the fire was extinguished.
