Charles Wohlstetter, 78, chairman of Atlanta-based Contel Corp., is recovering from a heart attack he suffered last week and is expected to resume his duties in a matter of weeks, according to company officials.
Wohlstetter was stricken Thursday and is hospitalized at New York University Medical Center.
Wohlstetter is one of the founders of the company, which provides a broad range of telecommunications and information processing products and services. The company has $3 billion in annual revenue.
