Playwright Lee Blessing, whose “Two Rooms” closes at the La Jolla Playhouse on July 31, will move from the subject of Beirut to baseball when his next work premieres at the Yale Repertory Theatre under the direction of Lloyd Richards. “Cobb,” the story of baseball Hall of Famer Ty Cobb, is scheduled for March 24-April 15.
