Bank’s Design Wins Plaudits from Institute

A $1-million budget for the construction cost of American Express Bank International’s western headquarters has paid off in a Best-of-Competition citation from the Chicago-based Institute of Business Designers. Gensler & Associates/Architects, Century City, did the design.
The bank, located in the penthouse of the Rodeo Collection, 421 N. Rodeo Drive, Beverly Hills, serves wealthy foreign investors.
