Andreas Deja, supervising animator of “Who Framed Roger Rabbit,” and other people involved with the film will be appearing at a “Toons Summer Festival Show and Sale” July 31 at the Doubletree Hotel in Orange.
The festival will be “the first of its kind to allow the public to view the behind-the-scenes making of this summer’s blockbuster hit animation movie,” said promoter Louie F. Garcia of Anaheim.
Garcia said films, slides and a question-and-answer period are scheduled.
Animators David Pacheco and Dave Spafford, and Dave Molina of Walt Disney Studios also will be on hand, Garcia said.
The Doubletree is at 100 The City Drive in Orange. The festival will run from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is $5 for adults, $3 for children under 12.
