Arthur B. Laffer and Charles A. Parker have been elected to the board of Amplicon Inc., increasing the number of directors to five. Laffer is founder and chairman of A.B. Laffer Associates, an economic research and consulting firm. He is also a member of the Economic Policy Advisory Board to the President of the United States. Parker is executive vice president and chief investment officer of Continental Corp. Amplicon, based in Santa Ana, finances high-technology equipment for companies.
