Free visits to state parks are being offered with memberships to the California State Parks Foundation.
Annual dues are $25 for a basic membership (15 day-use passes), $15 for seniors (10 day-use passes) and $15 for children 6 through 12 years.
Also, there are $50 and $100 memberships with benefits including unlimited day-use of parks for one year.
In addition to day-use passes, members receive a color map of state parks, a “passport” describing each park in detail and the quarterly California Parklands magazine, which contains a complete calendar of park events.
