Adulation of Rich
John Horn’s letter (June 12) was a refreshing change from the endless, mindless adulation heaped upon America’s rich by media propagandists.
He could have also noted that many get rich by following that grand old axiom of economics that states: One can marry more money in a 10-minute ceremony than can be earned in a lifetime of toil.
Let’s not forget lottery winners. Recently, one winner said he would set up an annuity for his children so that they would never have to work a day in their lives. There really are free lunches after all, provided fools, such as buyers of losing lottery tickets, pick up the tab.
