Pauma Valley Pot Farm Is Raided

Four armed men were arrested Friday morning when federal agents and sheriff’s deputies raided a farm growing marijuana near Pauma Valley.
The suspects were arrested about 8 a.m. when San Diego County Sheriff’s Department deputies and Department of the Interior agents raided the farming operation in the Nate Harrison Canyon area.
Those arrested were identified as Jose Ifidro Lara Rodriguez, 18; Abel Rodriguez Roblero, 43; Fidencia Montano Carrillo, 19, and Efrain Melina Arreola, 23.
Authorities, who recovered marijuana plants as high as 10 feet tall, said the men will be charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver. They may also face weapons charges.
