Senate Vote Assails Iraq

WASHINGTON — The Senate voted 91 to 0 today for a resolution condemning the use of chemical weapons by Iraq in its Persian Gulf war with Iran. The resolution calls on the Administration to “step up efforts†to secure an international ban on the use, production, development, stockpiling, transfer and acquisition of chemical weapons.
