The body of an unidentified man was discovered in a canyon behind a home improvement store in East San Diego, police said Wednesday.
Police found the man, believed to be in his 20s, in a canyon behind the Home Depot in the 6600 block of University Avenue about 8 p.m. Tuesday, dead of a gunshot wound. A gun was found near the body.
