It’s Just ‘Junior School’
We were delighted with the wonderful article on one of our most outstanding eighth-graders, Joanna Goslicka, which you published on May 8 (“Young Poet’s Career Takes Off†in Short Takes by Dick Roraback). As a result of your column, Joanna has received a letter of commendation from the National Catholic Education Assn. as well as from Gov. George Deukmejian.
I must, however, point out that the name of our school is Marymount Junior School, not Marymount Junior High School as you named us in your article. We are so designated to distinguish us, a private, Catholic co-ed grammar school encompassing kindergarten through eighth grade, from our high school, Marymount High School, a private Catholic high school for girls.
