Local News in Brief : Orange : Health Care Document to Be Workshop Topic
- Share via
A workshop on “Durable Power of Attorney,” a document in which a person can legally designate someone to make health care decisions for them when they are unable to do so, will be held next Wednesday at Loyola-Marymount University’s Orange County campus.
The durable power of attorney document functions as a legally recognized advance directive that prevents confusion over one’s treatment wishes, according to California Health Decisions, the organization sponsoring the workshop.
A $1.50 donation is requested for the document itself. Free parking is available at the campus at 480 S. Batavia St.
