Irvine Plaza First-Phase Completion Set Next Year
- Share via
Completion in the first quarter of next year is scheduled for the first phase of the $150-million, 68-acre Irvine Plaza development by Hillman Properties.
The initial phase of the development in the Irvine Business Complex will have a four-story and a five-story building with a total of 285,500 square feet of office space, according to a spokeswoman for the Newport Beach-based developer.
The design by Gensler & Associates incorporates a three-acre park in the tradition of a town square. Water art, magnolia trees, flowering annuals and other landscaping elements will distinguish the project from its neighbors in the business center.
Phase 2 of the project will also consist of a four-story and a five-story building, according to the spokeswoman. The site was purchased from Smith International Inc.
