Local News in Brief : Countywide : Transportation Corridor Hearing Set Wednesday

The Orange County Board of Supervisors will hold a public hearing Wednesday on the proposed Eastern Transportation Corridor, which will extend between the Riverside and Santa Ana freeways.
The public is invited to respond to the environmental impact report and study that will determine the location of the route. The corridor will include four to 10 general travel lanes and two transit lanes. Its proposed length is from 12 to 23 miles.
The public hearing will be at 9:30 a.m. in the County Administration Building, 10 Civic Center Plaza, Santa Ana.
