Padres’ Sports Bag Promotion Is Postponed

SAN DIEGO — The Padres announced late Thursday they have postponed Saturday night’s scheduled sports bag promotion because of a shipping problem with the bags.
A Padre spokesman said the promotion would be rescheduled when the bags are delivered.
Fans who have purchased tickets for the game may use them, exchange them for another 1988 regular-season game or obtain a refund. Exchanges or refunds must be handled at the Padres ticket office or by mail.
