Two National Hockey League teams named coaches. Pat Burns, who grew up just a few blocks from the Montreal Forum, was picked by the Montreal Canadiens, and Paul Holmgren, a former player and an assistant coach for the last three seasons, was named by the Philadelphia Flyers.
