NEW YORK — Joan Konner, a producer who has worked on Bill Moyers’ programs for public television, has been named dean of the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism, the school announced today. Konner, 57, will become the fifth dean and first woman to head the school. She succeeds Osborn Elliott, who stepped down two years ago. Moyers said Columbia students will be “as lucky to sit at her feet as I have been to have her by my side.”
