Local News in Brief : Huntington Beach : Coastline Officials Will Be Installed

Jeanne Oelstrom, an office automation careers instructor from Huntington Beach, was elected president of Coastline Community College’s Academic Senate, the link between the college administration and full- and part-time faculty.
In the elections held last month, Sally Kurz, a business information systems instructor from Huntington Beach, was elected vice president. Shirley Ledbetter, an office automation careers instructor from Seal Beach, was elected recording secretary.
Diana Bozarth, a travel careers instructor from Huntington Beach, was elected corresponding secretary, and Keith Powell, a travel careers instructor from Montebello, was elected treasurer.
Installation ceremonies for the newly elected Academic Senate will be held Tuesday at Barclay’s Inn, 3606 S. Bristol Ave., Santa Ana.
The ceremonies are open to staff and instructors at Coastline College, a college spokeswoman said. Mary Lou Zoglin, Coastline’s dean of instruction, will serve as installing officer.
