Sites Set for Prep Baseball 2nd Round

Estancia High School, which scored the biggest upset in the first round of the Southern Section 3-A division baseball playoffs with a 4-2 victory over top-seeded La Quinta, will play host to El Toro at 3:15 p.m. Tuesday in the second round.
Estancia (17-9) surprised La Quinta when freshman Paul McDaniels hit a three-run homer in the fifth inning. El Toro (15-13) used three homers to beat Arroyo, 9-1, to advance.
In other 3-A division games, Dana Hills (15-12) will play host to Laguna Hills (17-8), Pacifica (19-7) will play host to fourth-seeded California (20-4) and Irvine (18-8) will play host to Central (19-4).
In the 5-A division, top-seeded El Dorado (23-3) will travel to Beverly Hills (17-8), Esperanza (18-8) will play at Bishop Amat (18-8), Los Alamitos (21-6) will travel to Riverside Poly (19-8) and Ocean View (15-10-1) will play host to second-seeded Mater Dei (21-3).
In the 4-A division, Fullerton (19-7) will travel to top-seeded Hart (26-0), Santa Ana (17-9) will play at Cerritos (20-6-1), Valencia (16-8-1) will travel to fourth-seeded Redondo (28-2), Canyon (18-8) will play host to third-seeded Upland (21-6) and Foothill (17-10) will play host to South Hills (17-6).
In the 2-A division, Orange Lutheran (20-7) will travel to Gladstone (17-8) and Whittier Christian (14-9) will play host to second-seeded St. Genevieve (19-2-1).
In the Small Schools division, Claremont (9-5-1) will travel to Chadwick (14-8).
